About The Position
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality, such as servers, bartenders, or hosts, who are looking for a position that leverages their people skills to earn competitive pay while supporting charitable causes. The job involves using communication skills to secure long-term funding for reputable charitable organizations. Fundraisers will engage with the public, inspire support, work with a supportive team, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new people daily. The company is a fundraising agency that partners with top nonprofit organizations to secure sustainable donations through meaningful conversations. Their office is located in the RiNo (River North) and/or Downtown area.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Strong communication skills and can initiate genuine conversations
- Comfortable working in a performance-based role
- Dynamism and team spirit
- Enjoy being on your feet and working outdoors - rain or shine!
Nice To Haves
- Experience in improvisation, stand-up, or stage performance is a plus
- Relevant fundraising experience
