About The Position
Face Painter – SKATESIDE FEST (Family Event) - Culver City Benefits: Flexible schedule Free food & snacks Opportunity for advancement We are looking for a talented and reliable face painter to join SKATESIDE FEST, a large community event hosted by THE SKATESIDE in Culver City. THE SKATESIDE has introduced skateboarding to over 10,000 kids since 2015 and focuses on building confidence, resilience, and community. SKATESIDE FEST brings together thousands of families for a weekend of skating, music, games, and activities. As a face painter, you will play an important role in creating a fun, welcoming experience for kids and families. This role requires creativity, efficiency, and a strong ability to engage with children in a positive and patient way. Location: Culver City Dates: May 30–31 Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (You may be scheduled for full-day or partial shifts)
Requirements
- Prior face painting experience (portfolio or photos preferred)
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with children
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Provide face painting services for children in a safe and friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Work efficiently to manage lines and wait times
- Interact positively with children and parents
- Follow all hygiene and safety practices
- Represent THE SKATESIDE in a professional and welcoming way
