Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide 10s and 100s.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred.
Availability to work overtime hours, weekends and holidays preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs assembly line tasks to assemble structural parts, such as metal sashes, doors, and windows, using hand tools and portable power tools.
Assembles frame components, such as tops, bottoms, sides, panels, and molding in jigs or fixtures.
Assembles hardware, such as locks, hinges, catches, and swivels on frames and fastens hardware to frames, using various tools.
Lays out reference points for drilling holes in frame members, using a template, rule, and square.
Loads and unloads rolling material carts and matches drawings from the purchase order onto staging tables.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product onto pallets.
Operates various machinery including brooms, measuring tape, tape guns, knives/blades, and other machines as required.
Analyzes order sheets based on client orders and pulls appropriate product for each order.
Performs quality control, verifying material is not damaged/scratched and all pieces are in order according to the drawing/purchase order.
Organizes and stages multiple projects.
Complies with all safety and health regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
