About The Position

The primary responsibility is to cut, punch and drill parts to print. You'll also set up and maintain equipment, use hand tools and operate a forklift & overhead crane. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Requirements

  • Must pass a criminal background check.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a diploma substitute.
  • If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, must possess current Motor Vehicle Operator's License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to address situations as they arise and respond intuitively with accuracy and integrity.

  • Must be able to see well enough to see computer screens and read documents and measurements.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have 20/20 vision (with or without correction).
  • Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with vendors, customers, and other employees.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to move about production floor.
  • Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products and construction materials.
  • Lifts, pulls, pushes, sorts, and carries supplies and equipment up to 75 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to grasp and use construction equipment and power tools.

  • Experience working in a production environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Reads a tape measure.
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings.

  • Setup, run, and maintain saw, punch press, and drills.
  • Able to operate various hand tools.
  • Works with Welder Fabricators to determine what parts are needed and when.
  • Follow directions.
  • Performs other duties, as required by the company.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.
  • Attends and/or participates in company training.
  • Interacts well with all levels of staff and management.
  • Performs related administrative work as required.
