Requirements

Is able to read and interpret basic to moderately complex drawings, bills of material, and customize parts: stairs, railings, etc.
Has 3-5 years Steel Fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing environment
Can safely and effectively operate fabrication machinery such as press brake, punch press, welder, plasma cutter and miter band saw
Has experience using small hand and power tools, micrometers
Indoor and outdoor work year-round
Manually lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

Meet daily objectives in production, quality, and timely shipment of customer orders.
Flexibility to move to work in other areas when required.
Select dies, tools, punches for proper thickness of material
Form material according to drawings
Perform preventative maintenance procedures
Perform first piece and in progress inspection to ensure that work meets all requirements
Monitor condition of equipment and tooling and inform supervisor when punches and dies need sharpening
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Communicate with company managers on a daily basis ensuring objectives have been achieved in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
