We’re currently looking for a Fabricator/Welder 4 to join our dynamic Custom Fabrication team in Chilliwack, BC. The Role: As a Fabricator/Welder, you'll bring engineered designs to life, interpreting blueprints and detailed drawings to fabricate, weld, and assemble high-quality metal components. Working with a variety of tools, equipment, and materials, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating unique, custom solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Projects are diverse and offer the opportunity to continuously develop your skills while contributing to work you can take pride in.

Requirements

  • Fabrication Red Seal
  • 3+ years of fabrication/welding experience
  • Proficient in welding practices and fabrication techniques for the manufacture of custom machinery and projects
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and installation knowledge
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of simple layouts
  • Proficiency with all fabrication hand tools (drills, grinders, cutting tools, squares, levels, etc.)
  • Basic math skills and able to accurately read a tape measure

Nice To Haves

  • Previous or current CWB and/or LR certification is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Operate fabrication equipment (shears, ironworkers, drills, plasma, torches)
  • Use templates and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts and joins
  • Safely operate cranes, rigging, and lift trucks
  • Support production targets and continuous improvement with Supervisors/Leads
  • Complete required documentation and follow SOPs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Assist with assembly, testing, shipping, and installation as needed
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
