Responsible for producing high quality fabricated parts utilizing various fabrication equipment. This role involves operating production machinery as a loaded/unloader, or on a drill press station, weld nut station, saw, or other basic fabrication equipment and tooling. The Fabricator I will conduct inspections according to relevant gage plans, operate inspection equipment, and troubleshoot as needed. Key duties include machine center set-up, work preparation, fabrication, clean-up, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance of their own work and work area. The position requires adherence to policies, procedures, customer service goals, and quality standards while meeting production targets. Accurate record-keeping according to Stryker specifications is essential. A commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement in product performance, along with meeting all training and documentation criteria, is expected. The role also requires meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
