Fabrication/Warehouse Associate

This specific role is for a Fabrication/Warehouse Associate who will join a small warehouse team. The associate will be responsible for the fabrication and material handling of hollow metal products, including light-gauge sheet metal fabrication, operating power tools and material-handling equipment, assisting with shipping/receiving, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The role requires attention to quality, safety, and basic computer skills.
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in a fabrication or light-gauge sheet metal environment.
- Proficient with power tools: grinder, drill, detailed sander, saws.
- Ability to lift up to 35-50 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, reaching).
- Material handling experience in a warehouse or fabrication setting.
- Basic computer competency: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web navigation.
- Experience using handheld barcode/scan guns.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to pass all required drug screen and background checks.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble hollow metal frames and other sheet metal components according to specifications and work orders.
- Weld light-gauge materials (14 ga – 18 ga) and perform related metalwork tasks.
- Set up and operate power tools safely, including grinders, drills, detailed sanders, and saws.
- Read and follow drawings, cut lists, and fabrication instructions; perform quality checks and minor adjustments as needed.
- Perform material handling duties: unload/load shipments, stage materials for production, move finished product, and maintain organized work areas.
- Enter basic production and inventory data into computer systems (Outlook, Excel, web-based tools) and keep accurate documentation.
