About The Position
The Fabrication Technician expertly handles press brakes, drill presses, and other precision equipment to shape and transform raw materials with skill and accuracy. This role is hands-on and drives strength and durability into every truck.
Requirements
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency with tape measures.
- Comfortable using computer tools to support tasks.
- Able to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, including specialized applications.
- Skilled at understanding and accurately applying measurements.
- Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Skilled in setting up machines such as press brakes, shears, horizontal saws, plasma tables, and punch turrets.
- General computer knowledge is helpful to support daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Read and apply work orders accurately to each task.
- Perform machine setup and conduct preventative maintenance as needed.
- Skilled in grinding, drilling, sanding, tapping, and other related tasks.
- Confidently operate press brakes and punch machines.
- Conduct thorough safety and quality inspections to ensure top standards.
- Follow and uphold all company safety policies consistently.
