Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate a forklift and reach lift
  • Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills and counting ability
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail
  • Must have general deductive reasoning skills to troubleshoot minor issues and knowledge of how and when to escalate
  • Must be able to work without close supervision
  • Knowledge and recognition of plastic fittings by name, shape, and dimension.

Responsibilities

  • Moving all finished pallets, fabricating parts and putting away inventory.
  • Assembling/gluing parts together from a BOM sheet.
  • Scanning and moving unused inventory into warehouse locations.
  • Achieving 100% of targeted output.
  • Assuring quality of work through verification of correctness for all types of fabricated fittings and their associated packaging (i.e.: labels, cartons/cases and pallet configuration).
  • Detection, segregation, and isolation of non-conforming quality defects and notifying Supervisor, Manager, and/or QA Department.
  • Identifying various types of quality defects based on appearance, fit, form, and function.
  • Scanning in RF scanner finished pallets from staging location into a designated warehouse location.
  • Stretch wrapping all the finished pallets.
  • Emptying the large trash bins in the Fabrication area.
  • Safely operating and performing daily maintenance checks on a forklift.
  • Proper organization and cleanliness of assigned work area to the highest standards.
  • Performing the above-mentioned functions with minimum supervision.
  • Staging empty pallets in designated areas for production.
