About The Position
Schneider Electric is looking for skilled fabricators to join their dynamic Fabrication team at their new plant in Mount Juliet, TN. The role involves preparing, cutting, punching, and welding metal for their product line. In addition to Fabrication Technician openings, they are also seeking Welders for 2nd shift. Candidates with welding experience may be considered for welding opportunities based on qualifications and business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to handle basic shop math and interpret blueprints
- Strong team player mindset with a focus on quality and safety
Nice To Haves
- One year of fabrication experience
- Familiarity with World Class manufacturing principles is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner while meeting production and quality standards.
- Perform fabrication functions including robotic welding, press brake operation, punching, and laser operations based on business needs and individual qualifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Inspect parts and completed work to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Support cross-training and assist in other fabrication areas as needed.
