About The Position

Schneider Electric is seeking skilled fabricators for the 2nd Shift at their new plant in Mount Juliet, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, punching, and welding metal for the company's product line. The position involves reading blueprints, performing various machine operations, identifying parts, and suggesting product improvements. You will also take on additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Preferably one year of fabrication experience
• Ability to handle basic shop math and interpret blueprints
• Familiarity with World Class manufacturing principles is a plus
• Strong team player mindset with a focus on quality and safety

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints and manufacturing instructions
• Performing pem, tap, and radius operations
• Identifying and verifying parts
• Running turret or brake press according to set specifications
• Operating LVD and/or Cincinnati brakes at required rates
• Setting up and running Amada turrets at required rates
• Offering valuable product improvement suggestions
• Taking on additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
