Fabrication Technician - Vacuum Forming
About The Position
Cranial Technologies is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join their Vacuum Forming team in the Manufacturing department. This role is crucial in the manufacturing process of the DOC Band®, a custom-made cranial orthotic product for babies with plagiocephaly. The company is the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses and is dedicated to researching and treating flat head syndrome. The position offers an outstanding work environment with a Monday-Friday schedule, no shift work, no nights, and rare weekend work. The typical schedule is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Comprehensive training is provided, with a typical training period of 6 weeks. The work is performed indoors in an air-conditioned fabricating area in Chandler, AZ.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on a team as well as independently
- Keen eye for detail
- Hand eye coordination and ability to work with your hands
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- If you have an artist’s eye for detail, like to craft or create on your own time, or have played sports - all are useful skills!
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
