Fabrication Shop Laborer
About The Position
James Fisher Technologies (JFT) delivers remote solutions, specialty engineering, and technical services for high-hazard nuclear environments, solving complex, one-of-a-kind challenges that matter for the future. JFT believes in true work-life balance, and our 9/80 schedule lets you work Monday–Friday with every other Friday off to recharge. JFT is growing and looking for a Shop Laborer to join our team in Loveland, CO. The anticipated closing date for this posting is 7/30/26 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. This role performs tasks supporting JFT Management, Shop Welders, Machinists, Fabricators, Receipt Inspectors and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of fabrication shop tooling & processes.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel MS Word, MS Outlook).
- Detail oriented with good written & verbal communication skills.
- Able to read and interpret simple drawings.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass OSHA Safety Training.
- Hiring is contingent on the candidate's eligibility to access all required information and facilities as of the start date.
- JFT does not sponsor employment visas.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, grinders, saws and other shop equipment.
- Drive the company truck, courier parts and tow trailers.
- Kit components for downstream processes.
- Housekeeping and general maintenance.
- Verify receipt of items compared to purchase orders.
- Attend pre-job briefs and ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time.
- Perform duties and tasks in compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean shop and manage PPE supplies.
