About the HVAC Duc Fabrication Shop Associate The HVAC - Duct Fabrication Shop’s main goals are to ensure the field employees receive the materials needed to get the job done within the time frame given on the job. Safety is a number one priority as well as working efficiently and effectively. The Fabrication Shop Associate is responsible for moving material from stock to shop and maintaining inventory levels. They’ll also move finished fabrication and other miscellaneous ancillary items from the shop to loading dock or offsite storage and assist in the warehouse. Requirements

  • A high school diploma is preferred
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated action-oriented approach to tasks and projects.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work on various tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials from stock to the shop floor as needed.
  • Transport finished products and other items from the shop to the loading dock or offsite storage locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking and documenting materials used and received.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse.
  • Help with loading and unloading materials and products as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work efficiently to ensure tasks are completed within the designated time frames.
