About The Position

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston – North is a locally owned cleaning and restoration company serving the areas north and north east of Houston. We specialize in professional carpet, tile and grout, upholstery, hardwood/laminate floor, and HVAC duct cleaning, as well as water damage restoration, mold remediation, and odor mitigation services. We are committed to professionalism, quality workmanship, reliability, and outstanding customer service for both residential and commercial clients. This position provides professional and specialized service related to cleaning and mold treatment of HVAC ducts and systems. It also involves providing professional services related to cleaning of carpets, tile/grout, other flooring systems, upholstery, and assisting in water restoration and mold remediation services.

Requirements

High school diploma (or GED).
Driver License in good standing
Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. Capable of quickly learning to use company software systems.
Experianced in negative air HVAC duct cleaning
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate cleaning and restoration equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company procedures, and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Team player who works well with coworkers and clients.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, and related services is a plus.
NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) Certification
TDLR Mold Remediation Worker Certification
IICRC Certifications: CCT, SMT, WRT, ASD, AMRT, OCT, FSRT

Responsibilities

Effectively perform services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Carpet Cleaning, Water Restoration, Mold Remediation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly).
Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
Perform basic equipment maintenance.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician’s daily log.
Complete Work Orders.
Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
Maintain inventory of related supplies.
Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
