About The Position

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa, is seeking individuals interested in working part-time in their Quality Assurance department as a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician. This role involves monitoring product quality by inspecting meat for adherence to specifications at the end of production lines. Technicians are responsible for understanding product specifications, completing audit reports, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Additional duties include metal detector auditing and trim testing for E.coli via N60 sampling. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position.

Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday, Friday, and Saturday
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be available to work holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not provided)

• Beef products knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities
