Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
  • Experience with email communications.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Beef products knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring product quality.
  • Inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications at the end of production lines.
  • Knowing the product specifications for the line they are working on and filling out an audit report form.
  • Following and helping enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Metal detector auditing and testing trim for E.Coli, via N60 sampling.
  • Other duties as assigned.
