About The Position

Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa, is looking for qualified professionals to join our Quality Assurance Team as a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician. Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

• Beef products knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitoring product quality
• Inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications
• Knowing the product specifications for the line they are working on and filling out an audit report form
• Following and helping enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
• Metal detector auditing and testing trim for E.Coli, via N60 sampling
• Other duties as assigned
