Part-Time Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician, Iowa Premium, Tama, Iowa
About The Position
Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company in Tama, Iowa, is seeking individuals interested in working part-time in their Quality Assurance department as a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician. This role involves monitoring product quality by inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications at the end of production lines. The position requires knowledge of product specifications, completion of audit reports, and adherence to plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. It also includes metal detector auditing and trim testing for E.coli via N60 sampling. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position.
Requirements
- Available to work Monday, Friday, and Saturday
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Experience with email communications
- Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Beef products knowledge is preferred
Responsibilities
