This is a full-time position in the Fabrication department. The role involves significant physical activity, including lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs (or up to 100 lbs for specific non-knife positions), working with sharp knives or cutting tools, and performing repetitive hand and body movements. The job requires standing for the entire shift on concrete floors or elevated platforms, and the ability to bend, stoop, and twist. Employees will work in a fast-paced, potentially bloody environment and may be required to rotate between jobs. Processing involves cutting, trimming, fabricating, and packaging beef products, potentially using knives, hooks, or powered equipment like saws. The work environment is cold (less than 45 degrees Fahrenheit) and damp. Adherence to humane handling, sanitary dressing, safety practices, and regulatory compliance is mandatory.
