About The Position

A Fabrication Operator will perform all the duties related to fabricating Printed Circuit Boards into distinct parts/arrays from a production panel, including the start- up, set up, operation, preventive maintenance and produce a quality product.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Manual dexterity / steady hand required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to use a scope, caliper and micrometer.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good vision required.
  • Good math skills.
  • Computer skills (basic).
  • Able to work overtime, weekends as needed.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Able to work in a team environment and willing to cross train.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds without straining.
  • Able to stand throughout the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Computerized numerical control experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties related to fabricating Printed Circuit Boards into distinct parts/arrays from a production panel.
  • Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously to fabricate low tolerance patterns (rout, milling, bevel).
  • Independently perform complex and standard machine set ups.
  • Load Fabrication programs.
  • Align production panels to tooling pins on Fabrication machine.
  • Visually and mechanically inspect panels.
  • Make required adjustments.
  • Operate chamfer, V-scoring machine and beveling machines.
  • Maintain a safe, neat and organized workplace.
  • Wear all mandatory PPE.
