We are currently looking for a Fab Operator to be based out of Eugene location Reporting to the Shift Lead. The Fabricator Operator will run various machines and saws in the area. The primary role is to use the machines to bend pipe by loading pipe into the machine and/or connecting pipe to the bender part of the machine. It is the operator’s job to keep an eye on specs and quality of the product. Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: SHIFT OPERATOR: Ensure safety, quality and production rates are maintained per set goals per machine Runs various machinery in Fabrication Has knowledge on safety procedures for each machine, E-Stops, pinch points, etc. Inform Shift Lead for any possible safety infractions Has knowledge of startup and shutdown procedures Keeps machines loaded and running at all times Informs forklift personnel or Shift Lead when running low on cut blanks to be produced Does QC specifications on finished product throughout the run Does QC paperwork on finished product throughout the run every two (2) hours Verifies quantities per box, per pallet, part number and labels are correct Housekeeping a must throughout the shift SHIFT PIPE CUTTER: Runs various saws in Fabrication Signs off on the orientation sheet Has knowledge on safety procedures for each machine, E-Stops, pinch points, etc. Informs Shift Lead for any possible safety infraction Cuts various size pipe in Fabrication, sizes range from 1/2” thru 8” PVC. Cut lengths range 8-1/4” thru 106”. This varies on precut requests Directed by Shift Lead on what size and what cut length to be cut Informs forklift personnel or Shift Lead when running low on Fab Stock to be cut Must check cut length frequently for any deviation in cut length spec= plus or minus ¼” Housekeeping a must throughout the shift
