About The Position

As a Fabrication Team Lead on the 2nd shift, you will ensure smooth production flow in our Cooling Fabrication department. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a dedicated team and advance world-class manufacturing processes. Provide day-to-day operational support, mentoring, and on-the-job training to team members. Partner with the Production Supervisor and support teams to resolve issues and meet department goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Maintain production flow by filling in on the line as needed during PTO, breaks, and absences. Enforce company, department, and safety policies with strict adherence. Coordinate and complete employee training to ensure standard work and quality compliance. Operate equipment within the assigned area, including CRTs and forklifts. Lead and engage in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts to uncover waste and promote 5S and Lean methods. Engage, recognize, and motivate employees while promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing, with established proficiency in promoting Lean manufacturing and sustained improvement.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and internet-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of assigned production processes and effective communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to meet the physical and environmental demands of a manufacturing position, including strong attendance, reliability, and adaptability in a changing environment.
