KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Fabrication Operator/Bender Tender to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 3rd shift. 3rd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $3.00. To learn more about KI, please visit www.ki.com Job Duties: The Fabrication Operator/Bender Tender is responsible for tending to auto tube benders across multiple fabrication cells and operating all other fabrication equipment in the cell. In addition, individuals in this role will assist in providing direction to fabrication cell technicians.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Responsibilities

  • Required to operate, edit and program tube auto bending equipment in multiple cells
  • Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
  • Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses, tube benders)
  • Follow production schedules and determine what should run
  • Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs
