This role would be open to working within one or more areas in our production facility including fabrication assembly, inserting, press brake operation, and laser/turret operation. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior manufacturing experience, ideally in fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions; basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple production processes and comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and production machinery.
Responsibilities
- Assemble fabricated metal components and subassemblies according to blueprints, work instructions, or sample parts using hand and power tools.
- Install threaded inserts, studs, or fasteners into metal parts using insertion presses or hand tools, ensuring proper placement and specification compliance.
- Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal parts to specified angles and dimensions, inspecting formed parts for accuracy.
- Load material and operate laser cutting or turret punch equipment to cut and form parts according to programmed specifications, monitoring machine operation and part quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and quality specifications to ensure parts meet requirements.
- Inspect completed parts using standard measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
