About The Position

The Fabrication Fitter assembles, fits, and welds stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce fabricated parts and assemblies. The role involves metal fabrication, precision measuring, and working with stainless-steel materials and fabrication techniques. No prior experience is required; the company provides an opportunity to learn and develop technical skills. The position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and follows four 10-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices.
• Ability to cut and form tubing and other fittings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular, consistent attendance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cut tubing and fittings of various diameters to meet customer specifications.
• Use measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures.
• Perform job functions safely and efficiently.
• Read blueprints and shop plans.
• Help develop designs for welding projects.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by a supervisor or management.
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment through clear and respectful communication.
• Encourage and implement cross-functional improvements to operational efficiency and product quality.
