About The Position
This position is for a Fabrication Driver (Materials Handler Opr PR09) on the 2nd Shift in Waverly, NE. The role is responsible for setting up combos, moving and placing product as needed for production. Key duties include weighing and labeling combos, managing product inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. The work environment is continuously cold, slippery, and damp (28-34 degrees F), and involves working around moving machinery. The role requires excellent attendance and punctuality, the ability to utilize a pallet jack, and to read product labels by numbers. Physical demands include continuous standing/walking for up to 4 hours, frequent lifting/carrying of 20-50 lbs, simple/firm grasping, and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching above the shoulder. Adherence to safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, is essential.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months work history
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to utilize pallet jack
- Must be able to read product label by numbers
- Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines
- Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- 3 - months operator experience preferred
