About The Position
Ferguson is seeking an entry-level Fabrication Associate to join its team. The role supports pipe fabrication operations in a shop and pipe yard, including preparing and maintaining machinery, measuring and processing pipe, assembling orders, and following safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

- Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.

Nice To Haves
- Prior fabrication experience.
- Experience and training operating machinery to cut and thread pipe according to OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain shop machines used for pipe fabrication.
- Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
- Measure and cut pipe using a band saw and/or torch; roll and groove single and double random lengths; and thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
- Move loose and/or bundled pipe between locations within the pipe yard.
- Assemble pipe orders as single sticks or bundles and keep work supplies organized.
- Follow safety precautions when fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe for storage and transportation.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.
