About The Position
Join the S.I. Goldman fabrication team and help build high-quality mechanical and plumbing components that support commercial construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced fabricators in a fast-paced shop environment where you'll learn valuable trade skills and operate a variety of fabrication equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment
Nice To Haves
- Blueprint reading is a plus
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with cutting, prepping, and fabricating pipe and steel materials
- Load and unload materials and trucks
- Prepare fittings, supports, and fabrication components
- Operate and assist with fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Support a safe, organized, and productive fabrication shop
