About The Position

The Fabric Specialist is an hourly paid position responsible for assisting with product management and coordinating information regarding fabric. The role works with cross-functional teams to ensure fabric and leather needs are met and that quality requirements and specifications are met. The position enters fabric information into the AS400 program, works closely with manufacturing, pulls and transports fabric for daily cutting production, inspects incoming and outgoing fabrics, and maintains correct fabric bin locations. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of upholstery fabric experience.
• Ability to work on concrete floors for 9-hour shifts.
• Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to utilize a ladder.
• Dependability and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Enter fabric information into the AS400 program.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team.
• Pull and transport daily fabric for cutting production.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing fabrics.
• Ensure fabrics are stored in the correct bin locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
