About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves work in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments and requires the ability to read and write, complete on-the-job paperwork, and communicate effectively across management levels. Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. A respiratory physical must be completed successfully.

Requirements

At least 6 months of maintenance experience, or a maintenance apprenticeship or technical-school degree in lieu of experience; experience must be listed on the application or resume.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across management levels.
Successful completion of a respiratory physical.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs and ladders.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Industrial Maintenance or mechanical certificate preferred.
