About The Position

Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Fab Operator to join our team at the CE facility in Salina, KS. This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.

Requirements

• Ability to run equipment throughout the fabrication department
• Ability to use and understand AS400
• Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Fabrication Operator experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
• Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
