About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB - Kitter Floater - 1st shift. This position is based at our Arden, NC location. The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour. Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution.
Computer experience – Microsoft Excel, MAPICS, DMM and Enovia.
Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
Required to work flexible hours – overtime including weekends.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to lift, carry up to 30 lbs.
Able to read calipers and tape measures.
Able to read blueprints.
Proven history of safe work habits.

Responsibilities

Flex to fill multiple roles as needed: kit copper according to GO for delivery; operate a copper EHRT or bending copper on the brake/EHRT bender; coordinate manufacturing schedules to effectively meet customer requirements and company commitments for product/service quality and timeliness.
Assist other operators in their work as directed/required.
Utilize DMM, Enovia, kit assigned item self-manufactured materials.
Review status of orders and materials to identify future requirements.
Review the status of material shortages with fabrication supervisor/team lead.
Process surplus and/or non-conforming material according to procedures.
Observe all safety regulations as specified or directed.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace.
Establish part and process intimacy for assigned area and material.
Assist and/or fill gaps in copper shop if needed to meet production requirements.
