About The Position

BASX, an integral part of AAON, designs and manufactures custom HVAC solutions at its Redmond, Oregon facility. The Fabrication Helper supports the fabrication team and helps maintain smooth production-floor operations. The role involves assisting with material handling, component assembly, tool preparation, cleaning and maintenance, quality checks, and fabrication processes. The posting describes work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials and products using appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
Assist with assembling components and parts according to specifications provided by the fabrication team.
Keep work areas clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
Prepare tools and equipment for fabricators by cleaning and lubricating them and ensuring they are in good working condition.
Assist with quality-control checks to ensure finished products meet established standards and specifications.
Support fabricators by holding materials in place, operating machinery under supervision, and performing other assigned tasks.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to help maintain a safe working environment.
