Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The F135 Subcontract Sr. Manager will be responsible for managing activities for our major sub-contractor Collins Aerospace. This individual will work in a fast pace, highly collaborative environment, from requirements development and negotiations through contract award and execution. This role will serve as a key interface between program teams, acquisitions, engineering, finance and legal, to ensure requirements are clearly defined, agreements are effectively negotiated, and subcontract performance meets program objectives. In addition to day-to-day subcontract management, this individual will lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives focused on increasing the efficiency, effectiveness, and integration of subcontract management activities across the organization as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of Program Management, Supply Chain and Finance experience is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing subcontracts, suppliers, contracts, or complex cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contract negotiation knowledge and post-award subcontract execution.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple teams such as Procurement, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Program Management organizations.
  • Experience leading Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems, ERP systems, and project/program management tools.
