Skillbridge: F135 Data Correction Senior Manager
About The Position
RTX Corporation, through its SkillBridge Program, offers transitioning military service members a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business. This SkillBridge opportunity is with Pratt & Whitney and focuses on data correction related to the F135 fleet. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for compensation as they will continue to receive military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion, fellows are encouraged to apply for open positions. This role involves supporting and leading cross-functional teams to identify, contain, and resolve data integrity issues affecting F135 fleet readiness, airworthiness, and flight safety. It requires applying systems-level thinking, root cause analysis, and technical leadership to investigate issues, determine corrective actions, and support sustainable solutions. Collaboration will be across engineering, quality, logistics, sustainment, program leadership, and government partners, including the F-35 Joint Program Office. Responsibilities also include supporting issue-status reporting, technical findings, metrics, corrective-action plans, and stakeholder briefings.
Requirements
- Must be on Active-Duty orders in the U.S. Armed Forces
- Must be eligible to participate per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
- Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience in engineering, project/program management, operations, or supply chain/logistics or an Advanced degree with 7 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Human Factors, Business or Management
- Experience within Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organizational structures
- Experience with PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SharePoint
- ERP/CMMS data analysis experience
- AGILE project management experience
- Active Security Clearance
