About The Position

The F119 Support Program for the Raptor Engine (SPaRE) is a comprehensive products and services program in support of the F-22 Raptor / F119 weapon system platform and the U.S. Air Force. These products and services include Business and Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain Management, Support Equipment Management, Technical Data, and Engineering/technical support. The F119 LPM organization is seeking a highly motivated individual responsible for leading a cross-function Logistics IPT (LIPT) focused on actions required to meet readiness in supporting depot module production, developing fleet management plans for improved safety, and reliability, and reducing life cycle cost through affordability initiatives. The Module Fleet Manager will track and drive resolutions with support from Engineering, Customer Support, ASE, Supply Chain, Sustainment Operations, and our USAF customer in achieving program and customer objectives. Additionally, this role will drive the program towards implementation of standardization with new tools to drive efficiency as the program ramps into its second interval. This will require working closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to mitigate risks from supplier cold starts/transitions and ensuring utilization of existing parts being held for future repair.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 years of experience in Engineering, Propulsion maintenance/logistics, or Program management or an Advance degree with 5 years of Engineering, Propulsion maintenance/logistics, or Program management experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required to support this program/contract

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarization with propulsion MRO and technical/logistic field support processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, QLIK/Power BI

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional Logistics IPT (LIPT): Individual will own and develop plan for every part within responsible engine module to maintain fleet readiness requirements
  • Depot and Field Support - Identify risks to parts supportability for both depot module production and field requirements and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact
  • Review trends, update forecast data for future parts demand, and identify opportunities/needs for expanded repairs and/or limits to support production requirements and/or affordability targets
  • Develop and Monitor Fleet Management Plans for improved Safety, Reliability, and Affordability
  • Support internal and external program meetings by presenting module supportability challenges and mitigation plans
  • Drive efficiencies within the program to ensure preparedness for the next depot overhaul interval
  • Support hardware recovery initiatives for parts in hold for future repair status
