About The Position

The F110 X-Bat on Site Systems Engineer will be primarily co-located with the Shield AI company in Frisco (Dallas) TX, with travel to Shield's HQ in San Diego, CA and GE facilities in OH and MA. The Advanced Technical Leader leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy .

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• At least 12 years of engineering experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the assigned system
• Represent GE at customer's facility. Be GE's primary voice at the customer's shop and bring the voice of the customer back to GE.
• Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, ATO, and systems engineering
• Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Provide strong guidance and contribution to DMP and design to cost projects
• Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
• Mentor and develop less experienced personnel
