Pratt & Whitney, a division of RTX Corporation, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainment Program Manager (P4 Level) to join our F100 Program team. This role will be dedicated to supporting three key European customers: Poland, Ukraine, and Romania. This role will work directly with international customers, as well as the United States Air Force, to provide critical support for their F100 engine fleets. Special focus will include demand planning and forecasting, contract negotiations and management, and coordination across the Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) to ensure all customer support requirements are met. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that interfaces with multiple business functions, including program management, material management, production, component improvement, engine management, operations, finance, contracts, legal, and more. Travel required: <20% (domestic and international)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or marketing
  • 8 years of experience in product or program management, general management, maintenance management, or operations management or An Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in product or program management, general management, maintenance management, or operations management
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts and export control regulations

  • Strong understanding of sustainment, logistics, and supply chain operations in the aerospace or defense industry
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution capability and ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience in pricing strategy, negotiations, and contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Proven organizational, forward-thinking, and strategic planning skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes with demonstrated business success

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and act as the primary customer interface for sustainment-related activities for Poland, Ukraine, and Romania
  • Drive marketing campaigns and negotiate new contracts to transition customers from full Transactional Programs to Material Management Programs
  • Coordinate and execute customer visits, ensuring seamless communication and support during engagements
  • Manage customer-specific business and operational metrics, including forecasting and reporting
  • Ensure funding is identified to meet customer-unique requirements and program objectives
  • Lead efforts to resolve technical, operational, and logistical challenges from flight line support to sustainment performance, tailored to each customer’s needs
  • Responsible for managing contract execution, including profit and loss, for customer portfolio
