About The Position

The private Beach Club at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking an energetic, hands-on Food & Beverage Operations Manager to help lead daily operations, inspire an exceptional service team, and create unforgettable dining experiences for our private club members and their guests. This is more than a restaurant management position—it's an opportunity to build relationships with members, mentor a passionate team, host memorable beachfront events, and be part of one of Florida's premier destination resorts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience.
  • Experience in a private club, luxury resort, country club, or upscale restaurant preferred.
  • Passion for creating exceptional guest and member experiences.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and labor controls.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Beach Club's operations including dining, bar, and beverage service.
  • Create memorable dining experiences that exceed member expectations.
  • Build lasting relationships with club members and provide highly personalized service.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing service team.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and inspire a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, beverage presentation, and service execution.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate daily operations and special events.
  • Assist with member events, holiday celebrations, wine dinners, private functions, and beachfront gatherings.
  • Monitor labor costs, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and operating expenses.
  • Maintain beverage inventories and oversee ordering and cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, and alcohol service standards.
  • Address member feedback promptly while continuously improving the overall dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the club.
  • Step in wherever needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
