About The Position

The Social Hub San Sebastian operates around 300 rooms, retail spaces, a restaurant and rooftop-bar, as well as a thriving co-working community. The F&B Manager, also known as Community Manager, is responsible for running a smooth TSH operation in the San Sebastián hotel. This role oversees all 'Front of house'-areas, including reception, coworking, and food & drink outlets. The F&B Manager ensures the team provides the highest level of service, maintains a clean, safe, and inclusive working environment, and meets all financial goals for sales and expenses. TSH is described as a fun, creative, and inspiring environment that challenges conventions in hospitality, offering a hybrid concept that includes student accommodation, short and long stay options, gyms, events, and coworking spaces.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of management experience as Front Desk Manager or F&B Manager.
  • Solutions-oriented and skilled at connecting people.
  • A true problem-solver not afraid to make decisions.
  • Courteous, professional, and ready with a smile.
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations in a stress-free manner.
  • Team player who inspires and guides team members.
  • Exceptional English and Spanish communication skills.
  • Hard working, responsible, and a “let’s do this!” mentality.
  • Ability to build, lead and inspire motivated, happy teams.
  • Legally allowed to work in Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the hotel with teams and other internal & external departments.
  • Support management teams across all departments within the hotel.
  • Ensure the team provides the highest level of service and guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive working environment.
  • Meet all financial goals for sales and expenses.
  • Point guests to the best places to shop, eat, drink, club, or any other request.
  • Offer support and work with Front of House, Engineering & kitchen teams in all aspects of running the hotel.
  • Run daily operational meetings with teams.
  • Work together with the Connector to build & maintain the TSH community.
  • Plan and communicate the team's roster in time to ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Lead by example and motivate the team with an 'open-door' policy.
  • Look for opportunities to generate revenue and provide added value to guests.
  • Assist the hotel manager by keeping costs in line within the departmental budget.
  • Manage daily revenue targets and drive commitment within the team to achieve monthly results.
  • Manage running costs, from sales to guest supplies and other operational related costs.
  • Monitor daily performance, including points of sale, room revenues & quality.
