Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Restaurant Host / Food Runner to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while supporting efficient food service operations.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays as needed
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler’s Card throughout employment

This report may include information about your criminal history, employment history, educational background, credit history (if applicable to the position), and other relevant details. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly with a warm and professional demeanor
  • Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
  • Escort guests to tables and provide menus
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
  • Communicate guest needs and seating flow with servers and management
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
  • Ensure proper presentation and correct orders before delivery
  • Assist servers by clearing tables and resetting for new guests
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate with kitchen staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • A key requirement of this position is strict adherence to the company’s attendance and punctuality policy
