About The Position

The F&B Delivery Driver ensures the safe, sanitary, and timely delivery of food products to resort outlets, including the commissary, bakery, and banquet operations. The role includes preparing delivery vehicles, checking orders, transporting food within the specified time limits, returning washed containers, and assisting with storage-area cleanliness and received items. The position is based in a restaurant/resort environment, involves frequent travel throughout the property, and is typically full-time. The role is hourly, non-exempt, has no direct reports, and is never remote.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the audience.
• Understand written work-related sentences and paragraphs.
• Listen to and understand spoken information and ideas.
• Use basic computer hardware and software.
• Gather and organize information logically, recognize patterns, examine data, draw conclusions, generate and evaluate solutions, and apply critical thinking.
• Understand guest and personal service principles, including assessing guest needs, meeting service standards, and evaluating guest satisfaction.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and correctly.
• Regularly walk and stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and sanitary before loading deliveries and clean them again at the end of the shift.
• Assist with maintaining clean storage areas between deliveries.
• Put away received items as directed by the commissary and bakery chefs.
• Verify that food items for transport match the delivery order and contact the department chef and/or warehouse if there are discrepancies; inform involved parties when items are missing.
• Transport cold foods so they are delivered within two hours of loading to maintain temperature controls.
• Transport hot foods so they are delivered within two hours of loading.
• Load and return washed pans and containers to the commissary, including buckets, Lexan containers, Cambros, and sheet trays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
