About The Position

As a F&B Cashier at Westgate Resorts, you serve as the primary contact to guests and team members upon arrival in the outlet and on the phone. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. This role involves presenting menus, responding to inquiries, taking and delivering guest orders, balancing daily receipts (cash, vouchers, credit cards, and in-house charges), confirming and completing daily reservation lists, assisting other departments, accepting approved forms of payment, greeting guests, assembling food items for guest pickup, ensuring conformance to safety, security, and sanitation requirements, providing excellent service, performing POS system responsibilities, maintaining required department records, completing opening/running/closing duties, and conforming to department training standards.

Requirements

  • ABC Certification required within 30 days of Hire, must be maintained on a current/valid status.
  • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Presents menu to guest, responds to menu item inquiries in professional and accurate manner.
  • Takes guests orders following department guidelines.
  • Deliver guest orders following department guidelines.
  • Balancing of daily receipts, including but not limited to: cash, vouchers, credit cards and In-house charges.
  • Confirms and completes daily reservation lists, assists all other position in department for support and assistance.
  • Accepting approved forms of payment adhering to accounting standard (with full and complete accountability).
  • Taking guest food orders following department guidelines.
  • Greets all guests that arrive within visible area.
  • Selects requested food items from serving/kitchen or storage areas and assembles items for guest pickup following department guidelines.
  • Conformance to Government and Company Safety, Security and Sanitation requirements.
  • Responsible for providing Excellent Service to owners and guests alike.
  • Perform POS system responsibility per guidelines.
  • Maintain required department records with accuracy.
  • Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned.
  • Conform to department training standards.
