About The Position
This position involves taking food orders, accurately processing guest payments, and providing excellent guest service at the concessions window. The role requires adherence to cash-handling and accounting guidelines, POS procedures, and resort policies. The F+B Cashier will also be responsible for balancing and securing the house bank at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Guest service experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use
- Basic math skills required for cash handling, making change, and balancing drawers
- Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with guests and understand menus
- Ability to operate POS systems and cashier equipment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Take food orders at our concessions window
- Accurately process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and house charges
- Verify check totals and ensure all transactions are completed correctly
- Provide excellent guest service and address concerns in a professional manner
- Follow cash-handling and accounting guidelines for cash drawer and house bank management
- Balance and secure the house bank at the end of each shift
- Maintain compliance with Point of Sale (POS) procedures and resort policies
