Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of Food & Beverage experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence professionally
  • Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, and guests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Solid math skills, including ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and manuals in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
  • Capable of conveying information clearly and professionally in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
  • Able to understand and respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with courtesy and accuracy
  • Must be able to document incidents, complete reports, and follow written instructions precisely
  • Proficiency in communicating policies, procedures, and expectations to team members
  • Must qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local regulations
  • Valid Clark County Health Card required
  • Valid Alcohol Awareness Card required

Responsibilities

  • Supervises a designated Food & Beverage outlet and manages daily operations during assigned shifts
  • Supports and monitors operational goals, performance metrics, and profit objectives
  • Creates efficient staff schedules that balance labor costs, staffing needs, and guest satisfaction
  • Assists in the departmental budgeting process and provides recommendations; ensures budget compliance and reports concerns to management
  • Promotes and upholds superior customer service standards; addresses service issues and ensures team adherence to company expectations
  • Enforces all applicable gaming laws and regulations related to Food & Beverage operations
  • Assists in developing and maintaining food service procedures; inspects menu items to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Supports outlet manager in maintaining sanitary, efficient, and pleasant service environments
  • Helps monitor inventory and maintain cost control procedures
  • Assists with administrative duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
  • Ensures regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reports potential issues to management
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
  • Supports staff development through training programs and ongoing coaching
  • Assists in executing employee recognition initiatives to boost engagement
  • Evaluates team member performance and provides constructive feedback
  • Recommends staffing decisions, including interviewing, hiring, and scheduling
  • Oversees daily work procedures and helps streamline workflow
  • Provides input on employee performance actions, including discipline and counseling
