About The Position

This role is responsible for managing all areas of Food & Beverage operations to ensure they are managed effectively and efficiently. The supervisor will oversee and successfully operate Food and Beverage operations, measured through Total Service and EOS / SFS scores, while ensuring the highest degree of customer satisfaction for each food and beverage outlet. The position involves analyzing and evaluating operations and profit and loss statements, working with diverse team members, and coordinating with Marketing and other departments for operational support. The supervisor will also attend management meetings, monitor legal compliance, and assist in menu planning and pricing. Cost control, capital requests, purchasing, and staff development are key aspects of this role, including interviewing, training, selecting, and evaluating employees. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, with the possibility of overtime. Adherence to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, participation in meetings and pre-shift sessions, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. The position also requires the ability to communicate in English, respond to visual and aural cues, maintain a professional appearance, and meet attendance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all areas of Food & Beverage operations to ensure operating areas are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for oversight and successfully operating Food and Beverage operations measured through Total Service and EOS / SFS scores.
  • Ensures highest degree of customer satisfaction for each food and beverage outlet.
  • Analyzes and evaluates food and beverage operations, and profit and loss statement information to determine alternate courses of action.
  • Works successfully with a variety of diverse team members throughout the property.
  • Leads and coordinates efforts with Marketing and other departments to ensure support of Food and Beverage operations through promotions, advertising, or other related means.
  • Attends numerous management meetings while being an active participant.
  • Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, gaming, company and departmental laws and regulations.
  • Assists in planning and developing menus and respective pricing structures.
  • Institutes cost control procedures and standards of performance.
  • Responsible for drafting timely capital requests.
  • Evaluates purchasing, market conditions and availability of raw material to properly determine programs and actions required.
  • Develops management staff and ensures proper succession training.
  • Responsible for interviewing, training and selecting employees.
  • Conducts timely Performance Reviews for own direct reports, and ensures operating areas are completed and delivering employee reviews timely.
  • Makes or recommends wage increases.
  • Makes or recommends promotions.
  • Handles or oversees the management of employees' complaints or grievances.
  • Recommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Follows the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
  • Participates in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
