About The Position

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Project Management Specialist F/A-18 Block III Sustainment in Hazelwood, MO. This role will work closely with functional partners, suppliers and Navy customer to support F/A-18 Block III efforts, developing solutions and strategies to increase capacity and capability, executing proposal and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 + years’ experience in business function working with cross functional teams managing stakeholder and customer engagement
  • Knowledge or experience in project management
  • Knowledge or experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Knowledge or experience with proposal management and/or contract execution
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with schedule and finance management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
  • Experience managing or overseeing government contract execution

Responsibilities

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
