About The Position

The successful candidate will be based at Eglin AFB or RMS Headquarters Orlando, FL and directly support the F-35 sustainment team. Other locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but must be in proximity of a Lockheed Martin site. The employee will be a member of the Problem Resolution team located at Eglin AFB, FL and assist to provide engineering support, liaise with Aeronautics and the Joint Program Office Lightning Support Team, and provide customer service for the global enterprise of F-35 training centers and training products fielded across the country and around the world. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will manage system integrity, availability, and compliance of systems, assist in the development of problem resolution solutions across components of systems through design, integration, implementation, and support, perform guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple architectures, collaborate and coordinate with other program personnel and customers, and participate in cross-functional agile teams to solve training-related problems. This position requires a SECRET adjudicated U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtaining a Special Access Program (SAP) U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration. The candidate must be able to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work, when needed. They must also be willing to travel occasionally to both CONUS and OCONUS F-35 enterprise training locations for short periods, depending on Lockheed and customer needs. This is a HYBRID TELEWORK opportunity, allowing the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET adjudicate clearance
  • 3 or more years of systems engineer experience
  • Experience implementing engineering solutions
  • Experience implementing F35 Full-life cycle solutions
  • Experience with trouble-shooting hardware or software
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Experience interfacing, coordinating and collaborating with customers and cross functional organizations
  • U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration
  • Must be able to work multiple shifts
  • Must support some weekend work, when needed
  • Willing to travel occasionally to both CONUS and OCONUS F-35 enterprise training locations for short periods
